At the end of November, “TOP-100”, the annual award of the newspaper “Delovoi Petersburg”, was held in St. Petersburg. It is one of the most famous ratings, where the best top managers of the city are awarded. For the first time in 16 years of existence, the awards included representatives of the blockchain segment in the list of the participants. The victory was won by MyWish, the leading platform for creating smart contracts, represented by the founder — Vladimir Tikhomirov.

The organizers of the “TOP-100” award argue innovations by saying that they see a prospect for Russian economy in blockchain projects. According to the Ministry of Communications, over the next 5 years, it is planned to invest about 75 billion rubles in the development of Russian blockchain technologies.

The editor-in-chief of “Delovoi Petersburg”Artemy Smirnov, explained the expansion of the traditional list of nominees: “Managers who managed to outperform their colleagues in the narrow professional segment in intense competition are worthy of being represented among the strongest managers in the region”.

According to the founder of MyWish Vladimir Tikhomirov, such changes are another step towards a digital and transparent economy. The project has existed on the market for 2.5 years, it became the leading platform for creating smart contracts on different blockchains: Ethereum, NEO, WAVES, EOS, TRON. The goal of the project is to automate and simplify the work with blockchain for users, to make digital technologies more accessible for a wide range of people.

“Thanks to cryptography and decentralization, you can do without a third party in management. For example, there is no need for a notary to re-register property rights or for a bank to transfer your funds. Only Internet access is required, which makes it possible to work with assets anywhere in the world with any partners. Thanks to our product, users can manage their funds without any special knowledge in blockchain or programming. For example, you can create your own cryptocurrency in 3 minutes”, Vladimir Tikhomirov emphasizes the benefits of digital technology for business.

MyWish is headquartered in St. Petersburg, but its business spans the global market. Currently, more than 7,000 contracts are registered on the platform, which makes MyWish a leader among companies specializing in the development of smart contracts.

According to Vladimir Tikhomirov, in Russia, software development is welcomed and supported at the state level, including from the point of view of tax legislation. In the near future, we can expect the widespread emergence of blockchain projects in key business events and country ratings.
